Hays Construction are working in partnership with a well respected builder developer based in Sydney who are urgently looking for a senior contract administrator. With a long track record of delivering quality residential developments this company operate out of comfortable offices in the inner west and offer their staff market leading salaries and exposure to experienced construction managers.
This project is a $70million residential development in Sydney which is just commencing and it requires a lead contract administrator to support an experienced project manager in finishing procurement and getting the project moving. As contract administrator you will be the commercial heartbeat of the project ensuring at all times that our clients commercial interests are protected from letting efficient and cost effective contracts to compiling and distributing accurate and effective cost reports and forecasts. You will be working in close association with an experienced project and site manager and you will be given the opportunity to learn from the industry's best operators.
As senior contract administrator you will have at least 5 years experience working in the industry with at least 1 large residential development in your project portfolio. Ideally you will be tertiary qualified with a degree in construction management and you have solid technical knowledge of the construction process. Of course you are commercially driven and can you see yourself being a contracts or commercial manager in the future. You thrive in the commercial realm and are motivated by the margin you deliver on all of your projects.
