Our client, an Australian owned company, who are one of the leading providers of industrial services across a wide range of industries are looking for an experienced Hire Controller to join their expanding team here in Darwin.



You will be responsible for completing all aspects of the hire transaction including the booking, transferring and closing off of hire jobs. This role also has a strong customer service focus, as you will be responsible for answering all incoming calls, arranging the hire of equipment for the client and basic administration duties. This role offers a company vehicle and phone.



As a successful candidate you will have previous experience working within the hire industry, good mechanical aptitude and having a valid Forklift ticket would be desirable. A strong knowledge of the local market is also desirable. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be self motivated to manage your own workloads. You will also be able to successfully work under pressure, whilst having a practical and relaxed approach.
