Telecommunications Lead - Telephony/VOIP

Manchester, United Kingdom, GB - Telecommunications

Prestigious opportunity with a Pan European provider of equipment and services within leasing and rental, for a Telecommunications Leader! Following recent acquisitions and significant growth, in addition to a number of strategic services being brought in-house, we are now seeking a Telecommunication Leader with a background in voice and telephony.



You will be responsible for the delivery of fixed and mobile telephony services across Europe in addition to:-

- Providing operations change, incident and problem management resolution and escalation support

- Defining change management process

- Technical escalation for 2nd line Engineers

- Investigating network issues with SLA partners

- Establishing IT Telephony Strategy

- managing and supporting key vendors



Successful candidates will possess a proven track record in Telecommunications, in addition to a combination of the following skills:-

- Knowledge of fixed and mobile telecommunications

- Telephony installation, configuration, deployment and support of solutions

- Telephony, PABX and VOIP skills (Nortel, Avaya, Mitel, Siemens or Panasonic)

- Understanding of contact centre solutions is advantageous although not essential

- Ability to manage projects

- Management of 3rd party suppliers
