Pharmaceutical QC Specialist



A global pharmaceutical company has a presence in Singapore since the 1970s and hire more than 1000 employees. They seek a talented and motivated QC specialist to assume greater challenges in their QC operation team in Singapore, accommodating to the expanding global biologics market.



You will be supporting the supervisor to lead and train a team of quality analysts, ensuring the laboratory operations and safety are compliant to best practices and standards in the industry, as well as , having projects run according to manufacturing timelines. You are responsible of writing protocols, reviewing and approving the testing for raw materials, manufacturing processes and products, ensuring testings are analysed appropriately in accordance with a set of defined regulations. You will provide technical expertise to ensure that the quality of manufactured products met the regulatory standards and the test results be released on time to appropriate stakeholders.



You will liaise with engineers and others involved in production to troubleshoot any issues surfaced in the quality of products. In response to any deviations detected in the product quality, you will make critical corrective actions to resolve them timely and write investigation evaluation reports to present to the management. You will also participate in GMP audits and make suggestions as to how the quality control process can be improved when necessary.



To succeed in this challenging role, you will have a good tertiary qualification in Life Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or equivalents, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience. You should demonstrate strong analytical problem solving and leadership skills, with capacity to lead and manage people, projects and processes. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills are essential in this role.
