An immediate opportunity exists for an experienced Construction Manager to commence work with a highly successful privately owned property development and investment company. This family owned and operated company specialises in high end residential projects and has offices in Brisbane and Melbourne. The company's development portfolio is valued in excess of $500million which includes residential apartments, resorts and key inner city urban renewal precincts, specifically in Brisbane.



As the Construction Manager you will be responsible for the monitoring of all costs associated with each construction project from the feasibility stage of a project through to completion. You will establish, monitor, communicate and maintain project schedules, and use your industry knowledge of construction methods and costs, to advise on the most economic way of achieving success. Other responsibilities will include consistent tracking of due diligence items including environmental, geotechnical and zoning reports, as well as value progress payments at regular intervals. You will also value changes to design or quantities which may arise during the project and will prepare claims for progress payments and additional work accordingly.



To be successful in this role you will combine extensive industry experience with strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. You will demonstrate a high level of relationship building and negotiation skills, and be able to successfully multi-task different responsibilities without losing any attention to detail. You will have an orderly and analytical mind, and possess a strong desire to work in a fast paced environment. Solid problem-solving abilities and an energetic approach to your work, together with your exceptional organisational and presentational skills, will secure you this role.
