Corporate Tax Manager - FS - Edinburgh

We are recruiting a Tax Manager on behalf of our Client, a Big 4 Organisation, to work within their Financial Services Tax team. This is a rapidly growing part of their business and they are looking to recruit an individual with strong tax experience to contribute to the efficient and successful delivery of tax services to their clients, some of the largest and most exciting organisations in the world.



In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with clients to develop their business models, enabling them to achieve greater efficiencies and cost reductions in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.



To achieve this, the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, both internally and externally, is essential along with the provision of high levels of client service. As a key member of the FS client service group, you will provide full tax services to a client portfolio and manage the successful delivery of tax projects along with contribute to winning new work by proactively managing existing clients and attracting new clients.



To be successful in this role you will possess:



* The relevant tax experience

* Strong technical skills with the desire to continually develop

* The ability to identify areas of risk and undertake and manage effective reviews

* Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels.

* Be client focussed and commercially aware

* Project management skills with the ability to effectively manage workload and meet deadlines

* The ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically

* Be ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA qualified or Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training Course or Law qualification
