1st Line Support

One of my Public Sector clients based in Oxford is urgently recruiting for a 1st Line Support Engineer, for an initial 4 week contract to assist their Infrastructure team.



You will have previous 1st Line Windows Support experience, ideally within a Helpdesk environment, as well as knowledge and experience relating to front line/ customer facing support. You will be assisting with a large infrastructure refresh project including: unpacking and setting up machines, Ethernet issues, printer backlogs, helpdesk support (answering calls, emails, ticketing, resolving 1st line queries, or escalating to 2nd line) and machine preparation.



The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills at all levels, for this customer facing role, be diplomatic and have a flexible approach to your work. This is a good opportunity for a junior support engineer to gain valuable experience within the sector, whilst working for a well known and respected organisation.
