Ø Must have Proficient/Expert level knowledge on HP/ 3PAR, HP XP,EVA,MSA and EMC .



Ø Handled data storage of at least 500 TB on regular/tape back up.



Ø Configure and administer RAID, storage and associated components.



Ø Well Versed with multiple data center environment and also in some cases interoperability of Data exchanges between the data centers.



Ø Configure and administer data backup clients and servers.



Ø Maintain storage aspects of new server integrations, storage allocation, and change management.



Ø Configure and administer data restore and disaster recovery



Ø Configure and administer data backup clients and servers



Ø Maintain storage aspects of new server integrations, storage allocation, and change management.



Ø Setup procedures to consolidate storage of data from different platforms (i.e. Windows, UNIX, and Linux)



Ø Troubleshoot and fix storage issues



Ø Perform routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance



Ø Provide formal and informal storage administration training.



Ø Storage analysis, capacity planning, and performance planning of storage components.



Ø Document the policies and procedures to support the operational storage environment and participate in the design and ongoing refinement of procedures and policies.



Ø Prepare reports on storage administration best practices, new technologies, etc., and recommend enhancements and configuration changes to improve and optimize storage.



Qualifications :


Minimum BE or BSC Comp Sc or BCA, or BA/BSc/Bcom with additional qualifications and / or relevant experience
