This client is a global leader in positioning and wireless semiconductors for the consumer, industrial and automotive markets. Their solutions enable people, vehicles and machines to locate their exact position and wirelessly communicate via voice, text or video.
Historically European based, this business has also set up in Australia and they've seen immediate wins. As such an accomplished Field Application Engineer is sought after. As the successful candidate you will provide technical support and the primary task is to support customers during the design-in and pre and after-sales phase of their GNSS and Wireless modules.
You will help customers fully utilize the performance capabilities of their product suite and be highly motivated and willing to learn and experiment with new products and concepts. The candidate will report to the Head of Australia Operations.
Ideally you will have a MS or BS in Electrical Engineering and many years working experience in mixed signal (RF/Digital) board level design. Strong Knowledge in GNSS, GSM, WCDMA and LTE technology would be considered an asset and you should have experience in customer support functions.
