My client is a highly successful & reputable residential developer with more than 30 years of experience here in the Canterbury market. This business holds an impressive reputation of innovation, quality and building solutions and have a need for a Quantity Surveyor at a Senior level to join their team.
This role will be focused on driving this company into further success by managing costs effectively on multiple builds ranging in value from $500,00 through to $5,000,000! Your duties will include; estimating, pricing & producing BOQs from plans, variations, progress reporting & signing off on final accounts.
With a strong eye for detail coupled with a minimum of 5 years experience, you will hold a recognised qualification and have a proven longevity in each of your roles. You will be able to demonstrate your commercial knowledge, business acumen and display a strong sense of professionalism. The ability to build & maintain strong relationships is essential and you will ideally have a good understanding of the residential construction market here in New Zealand.
