Hays Construction is pleased to be exclusively retained by an independent Main Contractor within the West Yorkshire region. This family run business specialise in the design and build of high-end residential houses, public buildings and new builds/refurbishments for the leisure industry. Due to expansion and the desire to use the available land bank, we are looking for a Contracts Manager to deliver these projects and manage site staff.



Reporting to the Managing Director, the Contract Manager will have a great deal of autonomy, taking designs from inception through to completion. You will have sole responsibility for the operation department and undertake the following activities:



· Contract Management

· Man-management

· Some surveying where required

· Project delivery

· Managing sub-contractors



To be considered for this opportunity, it is desirable that you have the following experience:



· Working knowledge as a Contract or Site Manager within the House Build sector

· Experience working with a smaller business

· Willing to run the department

· Commutable to West Yorkshire
