The Senior Treasury Analyst I will join the Capital Markets function of HP's Corporate Treasury Group. This influential team is responsible for key aspects of HP's overall financial strategy, including capital structure, issuance of debt, share repurchase, valuation, structured financing, interest rate risk management, credit rating agency relations and working capital initiatives. If you bring us good ideas regarding financial management, these ideas can be incorporated into our regular presentations to the CFO and to the Finance & Investment Committee of HP's Board of Directors.



The responsibilities of this role will include (but will not be limited to) the following:


  • Liquidity and offshore cash repatriation planning

  • Investigation of intercompany netting impacts on US cash flow

  • Evaluate the economics of complex financial strategies,

  • Leadership of teams including HP legal, accounting and tax to implement structured transactions

  • Support of equity, debt and interest rate risk management activities led by other members of the Financial markets staff



  • Proactively identify areas for focus and produce persuasive, data-driven arguments to support good decisions


The Senior Financial Analyst I will gain valuable experience in a position with significant responsibility and interaction with senior management as well as considerable opportunity to grow into other roles within and outside HP’s Treasury Group.





Financial Markets

Capital Markets: Guide HP's management on issues relating to the company's funding and capital allocation strategy. Specifically, the department makes recommendations on share repurchase, capital investment and funding strategies, executing the company's plans in the U.S. and international capital markets. as well as working capital strategies



Foreign Exchange: Provide leadership, processes and tools to manage foreign exchange exposure from a balance sheet and income statement perspective.



Benefit Funds Investments: Guide investment strategy and recommend external investment managers for HP defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans worldwide





Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:



• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma, preferably with a business or scientific major

• A MBA is preferred.

• Typically 6+ years related experience in finance, audit, and/or accounting.

• Relevant certification preferred.



Knowledge and Skills Required:



• Strong systematic understanding of treasury processes, as well as other finance functions.

• In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to treasury activities.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and influence skills.

• Strong financial and business acumen.

• Strong project management, problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

• Understanding of corporate finance theory

• Works hard, with a positive attitude

• Outstanding analytical skills

• Focus on quality and detail

• Leadership
