Job Description:



Responsible for conducting information system security engineering activities

in accordance with Army Regulation 25-1, Information Technology. CUSTOMER

information system security engineering is a process that captures and refines

information security requirements and ensures that the requirements are

effectively integrated throughout the CUSTOMER software lifecycle. The CUSTOMER

information system security engineer employs best practices in software

engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secures

design, secures architecture, and must have demonstrated expert secure coding

techniques using HP Fortify. Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Information

Systems/Information Security certification or equivalent experience. Recognized

security professional certification (CISSP, CISM, or other). 4 - 8 years of

Security engineering in a similar IT environment with an emphasis in

vulnerability assessments, incident and risk management. Experience in security

controls for, web-based systems and databases. Previous experience with any of

the following systems preferred: CUSTOMER, SAAS-MOD, GCSS-A, GCSS-MC, OIS-MC

Tactical, FMSWeb, AOS or WebAmmo.
