Essential Job Functions



Must be proficient in all the following programming languages: Java, C, C++

Familiar with all of the following programming languages: MS Visual Studio languages (C++, VB, C#), ASP, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Ruby

Must have the following database experience: Database design, Query writing and tuning, Oracle PL/SQL development

Must be familiar with all of the following software design principles: Waterfall, Scrum, Object-oriented programming, Design patters, General best practices. Must have strong communication skills, to include the abilities to: Translate requirements from customer to developer

Translate feedback from developer to customer, Understand and formally capture implied requirements and feedback.

Actively identify, evaluate, document, and present potential issues and resolution plans, Generate, evaluate, and update formal project and team documentation.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or related field preferred
  


• Three or more years of experience in programming or testing
  


• Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems and software
  


• Experience working with relational databases to facilitate programming software
