Surety Underwriter

Due to an expansion, An Internationally Well Established Insurer is looking for a Surety Underwriter to be base with the Singapore Team.



Reporting to the Head of Surety, you will be responsible in credit analysis and credit proposals. You will handle all surety documentation including indemnity agreements, risk aggregation reports, management reporting and completeness for audit and compliance. You will develop an expand the Singapore Surety book, implement go to market Underwriting strategy for surety and drive long term profitable growth for the Singapore market.



You will have at least 3 years of relevant working experience in the Singapore market. Experience in Insurance or Reinsurance or Banking & Finance is preferred and with a construction focus. You will have strong knowledge of credit assessment of major corporates regionally, possessed excellent tertiary qualification with Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or Commercial General Insurance (BCP & ComGI). Knowledge of Accounting & Finance is preferred.
