Due to increased business growth, this leading insurance provider, based in Brisbane's CBD, are currently looking for an IT Support Technician to join their diverse technical environment. Working alongside a team of 4 technicians as the first point of contact you will be responsible for handling all requests for support and must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.



Supporting an internal user base of c.1,000 users, you will be responsible for completing all required routine and procedural IT operational, user and system administration tasks. You will be responsible for managing all IT requests with accuracy and consistency, working within an ITIL environment to effectively identify, log, investigate and resolve user issues. With responsibility for technical documentation and the improvement of IT support practices, this position integrates all elements of 1st, 2nd and some 3rd level support.



To be considered for this position you must bring at least 2 years of commercial experience in a large corporate environment, where you will have developed a vast technical aptitude and displayed a strong customer focus. Technically, you will be up to date with the latest Microsoft technologies, but will have specialist skills in Citrix, Active Directory and Windows XP-8, Server 03-2012. Tertiary qualifications in IT or a relevant field, as well as industry certifications will be highly regarded, as will commensurate experience in a similar role.
