Key Qualification


Cellular Technology: GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSPA+, TD-SCDMA, LTE etc. Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills, expertise in 3GPP layer 1-3 protocols from both UE and infrastructure sides, deep understanding of peer to peer protocol procedures and inter-layer interactions; Develop post-processing scripts and tools to facilitate log analysis. One of Perl, TCL, Python, Visual C#/Visual Basic is required. C/C++ expertise is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills (required to establish and maintain inter-departmental relationships). Strong verbal and written communication skills



Description


The team is responsible for bringing up the advanced cellular baseband performance test lab and triaging protocol issues reported from certification test, IOT and field tests, driving for continuous performance improvements The scope includes new lab test station bring up, expansion of the test batches and replicating field issues in lab for performance studies in controlled environment as well as test setup automation. The team will work closely with internal development team, radio stack vendor, certification and field test teams.



Education


MSEE/EE or technical degree with relevant experience, and 3+ years experience in technical role.
