The incumbent will:

1. Conduct assigned experiments and assist in their design. Follow laboratory procedures as assigned by supervisor.

2. Compile data and analyze results, presenting results and data to supervisor for review.

3. Interpret study results and make recommendations to supervisor on possible future course of action.

4. Reports to supervisor deviant results and makes recommendations for alternatives in experimental design.

5. Suggests new methods, procedures and techniques for solving specific defined research or project problems.

6. Serve on team or staff group pertinent to areas of assignment as directed by supervisor.

7. Cooperate with other scientists in group, department and throughout the corporation to be aware of other scientific projects and possible relationship to areas of assigned work.

8. Work with human-source materials, hazardous substances, chemicals, and other conditions common to the research laboratory.
