Job Description

Responsible for growing Accenture's presence in the Power Generation Operations, Maintenance and Asset Management domain with Utility clients in Australia based in Melbourne.. This person will:

• Provide crediblity and presence in client presentations when originating and selling new work


• Deliver power generation projects


• Establish trusted advisor relationships with clients


• Establish and grow power generation consulting work at existing clients

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals. Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach. Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

• 6-8 years’ experience in the areas of Asset Maintenance, Operations, Equipment Analytics in the power generation industry


• Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable


• Engineering Degree

• Development and implementation of maintenance and asset integrity strategies


• Experience with common maintenance management tools: Maximo, SAP Plant Maintenance


• Experience in plant operations and equipment analytics in power stations


• Excellent written, data analysis and presentation skills


• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member


• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills


• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
