As part of Accenture Analytics, you will be expected to leverage the power of advanced analytical solutions to bring new insights to our clients’ most important business issues and opportunities. You will do this by working with client teams to understand and translate business issues and opportunities into solutions that employ advanced analytic skills (e.g. statistical analysis, predictive analysis, data mining, etc). You will partner closely with colleagues from within Accenture Analytics and other parts of the organization to shape opportunities providing the full spectrum of analytical services to our clients. You will be asked to generate structure and sell analytics opportunities as well as lead consulting activities.

We are looking for someone able to:
• Understand client challenges, data, and the role of analytical modelling for a solution.
• Propose appropriate modelling approaches to adapt a solution to a client problem.
• Apply data, visualisation, software tools and modelling techniques.
• Apply predictive analytics and forecasting to identify potential value creating opportunities.
• Proficient in analytics technologies in two or more of R, SPSS, SAS.
• Apply revenue analytics experience, knowledge and advise the business on its specific strategic priorities.
• Manage and lead team on how Public Sector analytics can help deliver these priorities.
• Explain complex analytical methodologies and concepts in a non-technical language.
• Function as the key point of contact between service delivery (analytics and other execution teams) and the client.
• Assist in the accurate communication of model performance to business and technical stakeholders.
• Perform Quality Assurance processes on modelling efforts.
• Support the delivery of client work
• Manage stakeholders: within clients, internally within the group and at other third parties.
• Develop the business case to demonstrate the value of Analytics
• Understand a range of deal structures including value-based deals, time and material etc.
Qualifications

• A degree in statistics is preferred (not mandatory)
• Specialist knowledge of one or more industries or segments, coupled with strong analytical and data modelling skills.
• A degree in statistics is preferred (Not mandatory)
• 5 years of experience in relevant specialised business areas and or consulting.
• 2 – 3 years of experience in statistical software such as SAS and/or R.
• Experience using visualisation tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Python etc to analyse large volumes of business critical data is a must.
• Knowledge of Campaign management tools like Aprimo, etc.

Preferred Skills :
• Good understanding of RDBMS and Data Structures.
• Good knowledge of writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience in transforming data insights into actionable business strategies and presenting them to senior stakeholders and business partners
• Strong aptitude, motivation and interest in conducting quantitative analysis to transform data into impactful information and intelligence
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results
