Our client is leading Healthcare company with a presence in over 100 countries worldwide, and dedicated to improving the lives of patients. It is a publicly listed company focusing on the production of a broad range of innovative medical devices and solutions used by doctors worldwide. It employs almost 1000 employees in Japan, which is a major revenue generator and has ambitious growth plans over the next few years to be achieved by m&a activity, organic growth and business model innovation. As a result of internal promotion, our client currently seeks a CFO to join its leadership team.



The CFO will report to the Regional CFO based and manage a large and competent team including finance and potentially corporate strategy, depending on the caliber of the candidate. The CFO will serve as partner to the Japan President in evaluating and implementing the strategic and operational direction for the organisation, and develop close working relationships with senior managers, communicating regularly with key business unit and corporate functional leaders to ensure implantation of the new company strategy which includes a new business development plan, pipeline management and business innovation, and streamlining of processes to improve business efficiency. The CFO will integrate operating and financial results and forecasts into a complete view of the performance, trends, and business issues facing the region, which serves also as the action agenda for the senior management throughout the region. Salary package approximately 25-35M JPY.



The CFO should be strategic and a catalyst for change with a strong understanding of numbers, and strong focus on the detail. Preferably, candidates should have strong knowledge of the healthcare industry. However, our client is open to considering high caliber candidate with experience in a finance leadership role within a large publicly listed company, who have strong passion for the healthcare industry. Candidates must be change agents as he or she will be joining the organization at a critical point in its business transformation.
