Our client has several Senior Child Protection Practitioner vacancies available across all regions including Darwin, Katherine, Alice Springs and Nhulunbuy. The salary for this role is between $73,614 to $88,279 plus super dependant on experience as well as 6 weeks annual leave.



We have been asked to recruit for candidates to fill these vacancies on an ongoing (permanent) basis. These are Professional Level 2 positions, so not suitable for new graduates or inexperienced candidates. The candidates will require a Degree level qualification and significant experience, with the ability to mentor other staff and handle highly complex cases.



In these roles you will be responsible for the delivery of case work and case management services to clients, including the management of more complex cases. You will need to maintain a high level of services to clients and provide support, training and education to staff on program and practice issues. You must maintain accurate records via the database and participate in the After Hours Service. Please note that only candidates with a degree of an Australian tertiary institution, which give eligibility for membership of the Australian Community Workers Association, the Australian Association of Social Workers, or the Australian Psychological Society, or equivalent Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention AND Vocational Graduate Certificate in Community Service Practice can be considered.



Additional allowances are payable to identified positions, according to region as follows: *

Darwin based: $5,000pa *

Katherine based: $15,000pa *

Alice Springs based: $10,000pa *

Remote (Nhulunbuy & Barkly): $8,000pa

These allowances are payable until 30.06.17.
