Financial Analyst / Finance Analyst

A reputable and established manufacturing business based in Blackburn have appointed Hays exclusively to source a Financial Analyst to join their Finance Team.



As a stable business, with a presence over the globe they require a Finance Analyst to maintain production of business information for the wider subsidiaries in varying countries. Based in the World wide Hub this interesting and challenging role reports directly to the FP&A lead based on site.



As the Financial Analyst you shall have responsibility for the Financial Analysis over varying platforms of the business, based both in the UK and abroad. Extracting, providing analysis and presenting financial information from varying sources and base systems (ERP) you shall consolidate detail into management accounts in order to structure both budgets, actuals, prior year and variances. With a continuous development programme over the forecasting process, you shall be confident in working with new models and be able to advise on new ways of working. Producing monthly Sales and Gross Margin analytical reports you shall also provide day to day Analytical support to Senior Management across the globe.



This role requires heavy communication with both financial and Non-financial personnel within the business, based both in the UK and Abroad. Strong inter-company communication is key and pivotal to the role. Able to assist in the Annual Operating Budgeting Process you shall report directly to the FP&A Manager and be visible throughout the business as a point of contact.



In order to be considered for this role you shall have a formal accounting Qualification and have strong to advanced Excel skills. Working in a similar, highly analytical and system driven role you shall remain focussed within clear communication to both financial and non-financial personnel with strong spreadsheet ability.
