Recruiting & On-boarding Coordinator
Columbus, Ohio Area, US - Computer Software, Information Technology and Services


Summary/Objective
The recruiting & on-boarding coordinator coordinates recruitment and on-boarding needs.

This position is responsible for providing a best in class candidate experience by coordinating the recruitment & on-boarding process. This position supports the recruiters & hiring managers with process, reporting and administration activities for exempt and non-exempt positions.



Qualifications:
  • Intermediate to Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (experience in reporting and analytics preferred). Previous knowledge/experience with iCims or an ATS system
  • Able to adapt to new situations easily
  • Good sense of urgency and timeliness
  • An overall “Can Do” attitude that encompasses the mentality that no task is outside their realm of responsibility
  • Patience is key in this position as the person will be dealing with many different people and personalities
  • Previous experience in the staffing industry highly preferred (this could be in various positions, admin, reporting/analytics, HR assistant, etc.)
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communicating effectively with Recruiters and Account Managers to understand their needs will be vital to performing well in this position.
  • Ability to organize well

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Various administrative duties relating to office management may apply as well. Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:
  • Assist Recruiters and Hiring Managers in any task relating to the recruiting and on-boarding process.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with business stake holders hiring managers, applicants and recruiting manager.
  • Maintains records on recruiting activities as required
  • Corresponds with job applicants and new hires
  • Formatting resumes, sourcing, submitting change requests, entering and maintaining job orders in iCims system
  • Submit candidates into iCims systems
  • Enter job postings
  • Assist in the creation of presentations, researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring and statistics
  • Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms
  • Schedules and assist with job/career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants
  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants
  • Provide training, travel and lodging information for necessary new hires
  • Conducts reference and background checks
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a service oriented environment
  • Provide support to multiple individuals on scheduling and projects
  • Schedule and prepare all necessary documentation for partnership strategy meetings
  • Assist with background checks and references as requested
  • Maintain candidate file with appropriate documentation
  • Maintain reports as defined
  • Schedule interviews between candidates and interviewing teams
  • Act as a liaison between candidates and interviewing teams
  • Distribute interview schedules and resumes to the interviewing team
  • Distribute all interviewing information, including recruitment packets, schedule and itinerary to the candidates
  • Assist with iCims training for necessary users
  • Creation of New Hire IT Forms
  • Gathering new hire information for files (signed offer, employment agreement, resume, profiles assessment – if applicable, references, background consent form, source of hire etc)

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.



Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel is outside the local area and overnight.

Required Education and Experience

1 year of recruiting department or human resource experience

Preferred Education and Experience

Associates degree in Human Resources or relevant experience
