Certified Quality expert responsible for conducting or participating in multi-disciplinary process quality improvement/re-engineering, redesign of processes for implementation of quality processes in every area of the company: engineering, manufacturing, service, administration, etc. Develops and leads the Process Improvement Teams (PIT’s) chartered to identify and resolve deficiencies in HP’s business processes. Serves as the internal consultant of the business or functional area Quality Leadership Team to coach and provide direction in order to achieve desired business results. Counsels assigned business (es) regarding implementation of Quality improvement strategies, measurement, and training. Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories, or techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function. Leads large, cross division functional teams or projects that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.



Qualifications


  • Business acumen; understanding of HP business and internal processes

  • Proven ability to design and develop engaging and effective communication deliverables across a wide range of media

  • Strategic communication design and planning skills; also happy to work tactically

  • Superior command of the English language

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work on tight deadlines

  • Ability to think & operate across all HP business units and organizations

  • Responsiveness, flexibility, creativity and innovation in a changing environment whilst retaining attention to detail

  • Drive and commitment, works hard with common sense and “can do” attitude

  • Proven self-starter

  • Typically at least 8+ years’ experience in similar positions

  • Bachelor degree in related field (Business Administration, Communication, English, Journalism, Marketing) or equivalent experience in industry
