Senior Consultant Business Development

Our client are currently looking for a Senior Consultant in their Toronto office that will drive growth in the Ontario region, specializing in new business development.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
A consultative sales professional with 5+ years experience utilizing a complex solution sales methodology selling intangibles
A strong hunter who is highly motivated to develop new business and open new accounts
Prior experience selling into the line, VP and “C” Suite level of HR, Learning and Development, Talent Management, etc
Ability to talk intelligently with an appropriate level of business acumen and literacy at the “C” suite level
A proven track record of achieving annual quota assignments of $550K+
Proven ability to close new business as well as manage and cultivate existing client relationships
Strong relationship building skills both internally and with clients to create long-lasting relationships that foster contract renewals
An innovative problem-solver; ability to listen to a client’s issue, assess the situation and develop an effective solution, with clarity, that aligns with their needs
REQUIREMENTS:
A high-initiative and self-motivated with a strong executive presence
Exceptional communication skills; written, verbal and presentation
A collaborative, team-player
Ability to work out of the Toronto office daily
Bachelor’s Degree. Advanced degree preferred but not essential
