The AppleCare Online Support Research & Analytics team is seeking a highly quantitative Online Analytics Program Manager to lead analytics and benchmarking activities for our online support programs. The ideal candidate will help define, execute, and identify insights that influence new support strategies. This individual will be a hands-on, passionate and a deep expert with web and analytics tools. Experience working with big data and a keen analytical mind are required for success in this fast moving environment.
This position can be based in Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA.
Key Qualifications
- High proficiency with R, SAS, Tableau, as well as other analytics tools and methodologies
- Deep strategic thinking skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the questions for research to answer
- Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources for a clear understanding of opportunities
- Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and effective manner including use of stories, metaphors, meaningful visualization methods
- Ability to elicit and identify customer needs and behaviors by using quantitative and qualitative listening methods
- Exemplary professional demeanor and communication, experience presenting at executive levels required
- Demonstrated teamwork as well as leadership and influence skills
- Must be able to work in a highly matrixed environment and while dealing with high complexity and ambiguity
- Ability to bridge difficult concepts between technical and non-technical audiences

• Thinking deeply about ways to support new programs while improving the accuracy of our web content, ensuring data integrity, and scaling the team's analytical capabilities.
• Assist in building consensus across Apple Operations/Engineering/Marketing/Legal and securing buy-in on new strategies by delivering analytical insights
• Working closely with IS&T and BPR on implementing key enterprise IT projects to scale the speed and quality of analytics offered by AppleCare Online Support Research & Analytics team
• Identify, select and manage research vendors across geographic lines.
Education
Masters, MBA, or Doctorate in statistics, measurement theory, customer research or equivalent professional experience
Additional Requirements
10-15 years of research and analytics experience
Ability to travel 25% of the time
