SENIOR SCIENTIST, DAIRY BEVERAGE



Our client is a global leader of specialty hydrocolloids, with presence over 100 countries. They are seeking brilliant scientists and technologists from all over the world to join the newly established Centre of Excellence (COE) in Singapore to innovate fabulous dairy beverage products, championing the market needs and demands.



Your main responsibilities will include proactive development of appropriate formulations with hydrocolloids, establishing breakthroughs in formulating new products and solutions for the dairy beverage segment. You will be responsible for continuously conducting innovative research at laboratory scale, and driving the bench-scale research forward to pilot plant trials. You will take charge of troubleshooting complex customer or technical problems and communicate feasible recommendations to various stakeholders. You will also be comfortable with working on patent filings and supporting other COEs towards developing regional plant produced products in beverage applications.



Ideally, you will have a good university degree in food science, dairy chemistry or equivalent. You have a minimum 7 years of applications experience in Hydrocolloids industry or outstanding track record in dairy beverage product development. A vast experience in working with renowned scientific and industry experts in dairy beverage or hydrocolloids would be a plus. Strong working knowledge on rheological instrumentation and sensory analysis are highly regarded for this position.
