Our client is a highly regarded, multi award winning builder and developer of boutique apartment developments in some of Melbourne's most affluent areas. They have built a reputation among Melbourne's developers as "The builder of distinction" delivering high quality products on time and under budget. All of this is achieved through their commitment to excellence in construction, technical knowledge, attention to detail and always listening to the clients needs.



Over the last six months they have seen a surge in enquiries and 2014 has proven to be a very busy year. With this in mind they are looking for someone to join this close knit team and help the business in continuing to reach new heights.



As an estimator with this business you will be solely responsible for pricing apartment projects up to the value of $15m. You will be assisted by the director and a junior estimator in your work but will be expected to have the ability to tender projects in a precise manner on a stand alone basis.



The role of estimator within this business involves costings, tender processes, EOI & estimation of all future projects. You must have a minimum of five years experience in commercial estimating, ideally on apartment projects and you must have experience up to the value of $20m. Successful candidates will also hold the relevant tertiary qualifications and show a stable employment history.



Reporting to the managing director, you should be able to demonstrate your building knowledge, previous successes in detail, contacts within the local market and your ability to bring work with you.
