Industrial Relations Consultant - 12 month fixed term contract
This public sector organisation touches the lives of all New Zealanders. Within this evolving environment, it is essential staff are appropriately and consistently engaged and rewarded. To facilitate this, one year fixed term contract job has become available in Wellington, for an Industrial Relations professional with exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
Working as part of the small Industrial Relations team responsible for undertaking collective bargaining, this job will provide support and guidance in the development of bargaining initiatives and strategy. Ensuring stakeholder expectations are managed, particularly as the organisation is undergoing significant change, good judgement is essential to be able to weigh up and articulate priorities, risks and benefits to ensure bargaining is fair, efficient and advice is consistent with employment law.
If you have good project management ability within a political environment and exposure to the development, implementation and impacts of industrial and workforce strategies and policies, this job offers high level negotiation, relationship management and exceptional exposure to a geographically dispersed workforce.
