A new opportunity to join the leadership team of this successful, multi-national business. As Procurement Manager you will be required to maximise profit by sourcing Parallel Import Products and negotiating best prices from overseas suppliers.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Forecast likely levels of demand for products to meet the business needs, keeping a constant check on stock levels to maximise business efficiency and to minimise 'Out of Stock'
· Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value
· Identify potential suppliers, including visiting existing suppliers overseas to maintain good relationships and to generate new business
· Negotiating and agreeing contracts in line with the Company's Policy and Procedures
· Liaise with Production and Sales Department in order to forecast price trends and the impact on future activities
· Manage all imports using approved forwarders complying to EU Regulations
· Report monthly market changes to Senior Management Team via reports
· Review and assess products offers ensuring that licence checks have been completed
Skills & Knowledge required:
· · Previous experience creating of draft, reviewing and implementing technical agreements would be beneficial
· Proven experience analysing and producing meaningful reports and data
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible approach to work with the ability to perform under pressure
