The Wireless Technologies team is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer with a strong background in Computer Science and passion for mobile technologies. You will be challenged with unique problems and with creating and developing software solutions for the current and next generation of iPhones.

Description



Due to the cross-functional nature of the technology, the ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a large variety of people from organizations within and external to Apple. The candidate needs to show initiative, take ownership of problem areas, and assume responsibility for managing all the related aspects that need to be coordinated to achieve success. The candidate should also be able to make intelligent compromises between several contradictory factors such as ease of use, performance and efficiency.



Education



Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience



Additional Requirements



Solid problem solving and debugging skills

Scripting is a plus, especially in Python

Objective-C experience is a plus

Familiarity with overall architecture of consumer electronics
