The Solution Director is responsible for the development and oversight of innovative, creative and compelling Application Management Services solutions required to win profitable new business for Atos.
The Solution Director is the single point of contact (SPOC) for the Engagement Director, Client Executive and Client Partner for the purpose of developing solutions consistent with the win strategy related to Application Management Services new business and deal renewals. The position actively participates in pre-sales activities and oversees the solution design, solution costing, and delivers the solution to the Transition and Delivery teams for successful transition of the engagement to a steady-state delivery model.
For each engagement, the Solution Director is responsible for the following:
• Provide operational, financial, technical and managerial skills necessary to manage the process and deliver winning solutions and effectively transition projects
• Lead the Solution Design process by analyzing RFI/RFP requirements and client needs to articulate solution strategy to technical architects.
• Develop & manage the solution development process in alignment with Atos’ value proposition to deliver a competitive solution based on client requirements and the competitive landscape
• Work Closely with global off-shore teams to develop effective global solutions and integrate corporate and industry best practices into solution designs
• Create required solution and deliverables. Deliverables may include business case, proposal, presentation, SOW, implementation plan.
• Active engagement with the sales organization in the crafting and presentation of Atos capabilities and design leadership
• Assists with the Transition & Transformation Strategy (Design/Build/Transform)
• Responsible for approvals and decisions representing the costing related to Application Management Services factories
• Incorporate key parameters of the solution and utilize the available benchmarks to ensure a competitive and deliverable solution is proposed
• Advocate compliance with corporate/business unit and legal strategies in SOW development
• Participate in internal and external executive briefings when required by the Engagement Team.
• Provide ad-hoc detailed written documentation to support proposal requests
• Provide post-sales support as required:
- Assist with the development of Statements of Work
- Assist with the development of Transition plans
- Support Transition resources with technical, operational and/or financial support
- Provide solution modification, if required, during Transition planning or implementation
