Our client is looking to recruit an Energy Engineer to make a significant contribution to our existing portfolio of environmental, energy & sustainability projects. The candidate will have a strong track record of delivery and excellent experience of managing work across a range of different clients including private and public sector.



Experience in the area's of HVAC and Boilers would be an advantage. The role will involve dealing with a diverse client base to provide practical solutions to their energy related issues including current and pending legislative requirements. In addition the role will involve undertaking technical work and delivering energy management services



Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

* Implementing energy related projects

* Developing and implementation of energy management systems including ISO 50001

* Implementation and management of energy awareness campaigns / presentations

* Supporting key clients with implementation of environmental objectives and targets and key EMP's

* Undertaking energy audits

* Delivering best practice solutions to clients in a range of energy related services

* Procure and manage sub contract services as required to deliver energy related projects

* To build working relationships within the division and across the company in order to enhance and strengthen opportunities for the acquisition and delivery of energy and climate change work.

* To provide clear and focused intellectual and policy input to the development of both project proposals and project reports.

* The ability to develop and deliver project plans and programmes from inception to completion

* Liaising with client staff on both technical and management support

* Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)

* Utility Management - Energy Monitoring and Targeting



The ideal candidate must be qualified to Degree level in an Engineering discipline, have 5 years professional experience, have a thorough understanding of utilities, CHP and renewable energy. Other attributes important for this role include strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, along with full IT proficiency and flexibility to travel. Previous experience managing energy related projects is advantageous.
