Interior Architect

Interior Architect / Retail Development Co-ordinator
Dublin west/Kildare
Maternity contract, circa 9 months


We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Interior Architect to join an organisation who specialise exclusively in the development and operation of luxury shopping destinations across Europe.



The remit of the role is to ensure excellence in all retail development matters, including store presentations in line with company plans and to run minor projects/temporary fit outs competently.





Some of the duties included in this position are:

Assist develop/ implement strategy for the new phase of fit out of shop openings

Assist the re-merchandising / re-fit programme of selected stores

Assist, manage and implement new systems and procedures for the shop-fit process and improve those already existing

Ensure all work in conducted in accordance to standard Health & Safety procedures

Manage all stakeholder relationships with Local Authority building regulations consultants

Review and refine project presentations including drawing sheet and approvals

Introduce new designs and current trends to the team and relate to forthcoming shop fits

Ensure stakeholder engagement prior to their shop-fit conception

Assist with the supply and complete information for approval of plans, samples, and shop-fit in general

Assist in developing sketch schemes for brands to be approved, procured and project managed on site from inception to completion

Assist with scheduling all visits from stores in co-ordination with other departments: reporting & follow-up; schedule and take part in all site meetings and compile meeting minutes

Monitor progress of works on-site ensuring that the works schedule is adhered to

Ensure all administrative issues related to the development and compile related documentation to ensure all files are regularly maintained and updated.





The ideal candidate will:

Hold a qualification in Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture

Have a minimum of 4 years industry experience

Possess excellent organisational, presentation, co-ordination and project management skills

Experience in designing fit-out, refurbishments and retro-fit is essential

Strong administration and IT skills
