An opportunity has become available for an experienced EL1 Social Media professional to assist this centrally located department focused on health, well-being and services, in a rare and exciting 12 month contract at the EL1 level.



As an experienced Social Media Professional, who has managed the social media for an on-line service, in particular a highly trafficked Facebook page, you will be responsible for managing the social media response for this free service that supports counselling for those affected and their families.



Once on board, you will work with key areas, such as the Departments Mental and Social Health Branch and Social Media Team, to plan strategic on-line campaigns, manage cross-portfolio partnerships, build and retain the on-line community and work collaboratively to ensure the service adds value to the intended clients. This will require your proven experience managing on-line content, input and moderate on-line discussions and effectively identify opportunities to share content and also how to identify issues of concerns and work with clinicians to address these.



In return, you will work within a small and dedicated team and have the opportunity to work on a highly visible project that will directly impact the audience. You will also receive an attractive salary and lengthy contract.



This role is for immediate filling and requires proven experience in both social media and social work.
