Our client is a Financial Services giant that provides sales and trading, investment banking, research, asset management, private equity and other financial services with both institutional and retail clients in China and Hong Kong.





In this role you will be responsible to lead and manage the end to end IT operations across Hong Kong. This role will essential involve extensive interaction with senior management and various business users. Your role will be to provide leadership and guidance to the IT Team in HK as well as to communicate and foster strong relationships and collaborative working strategies with other IT teams within the group. You will partner with key business managers to develop initiatives and solutions that will maximize the business benefits from the cost effective use of Technology. You must oversee, plan, estimate and manage IT projects and ensure delivery is of quality, on time, within budget and in accordance with the program plan. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with vendors and other external parties.





You will hold a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline. You should have 10 years plus experience in Information Technology with at least 5 years in a management role. Experience in Financial Services is a MUST and ideally you will have proven track record across listed derivatives, cash trading, algorithmic trading and front to back flows. You will possess proven leadership and team management experience in a high performing financial services environment. You will have strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills. You must be competent in written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is a huge plus.
