A local municipality based in the western suburbs requires an experienced Senior Project Manger to join their team for an initial six months.



Reporting to the Manager of Community Buildings, you will be required to efficiently manage a diverse range of building, civil and public space projects from planning, design, construction and defects liability period stages.



The projects will range from building alterations, heritage building restoration works, site contamination assessments and remediation works. Practical experience in the supervision and co-ordination of similar projects is essential coupled with co-ordination of tender preparation, management of consultants, community involvement and overall development of projects.



The successful candidate will have project management and contracts administration skills coupled with a Degree in Civil Engineering, Building or Architecture and extensive experience in the design and construction field.
