Senior Sales Engineer (Cables)

Our client is a key player in the cables manufacturing industry, with a broad range of product offering. As part of business growth, they are currently hiring for a specialist within the business and construction segment for the Singapore office.
Reporting into the Sales Manager, the Senior Sales Engineer will be required to lead technical product sales development for the building and construction industry. You will be the main link between client sales, driving both existing accounts, as well as development of new client relations. This is a key role, as you will also own all tender processes, through from document analysis to provision of quotations.
To succeed in this role, the candidate should come with either past 3-5 years sales experience in this sector, preferably managing Mechanical or Electrical products. You must show high enthusiasm in this industry segment, and be driven to excel in product knowledge and understanding. Financially astute, you are able to lead difficult negotiations, while at the same time, protect the commercial interests of the company. A track record of success in sales management (~10-15 SGD million) is also a key requirement.
