Private Client Assistant Manager

An opportunity has arisen within my clients Private Client Services practice in Belfast for an Assistant Manager.



You will be part of an expanding and thriving team, with a strong identity, leadership and direction.



As an Assistant Manager, within the Private Client Services team, you will have the opportunity to expand your experience and knowledge in all areas of private client taxes and employment taxes. The role covers tax compliance issues, including income tax, capital gains tax , inheritance tax, planning/advisory work and employment tax issues.



Your clients will range from high net worth individuals, trusts, entrepreneurs to directors and professional partnerships. This means you will have the opportunity to broaden your technical skills and knowledge without being restricted to one area. Our Private Client Services team works with high net worth individuals across a range of industry groups. You will be interacting with all levels across disciplines, allowing you the opportunity to forge close working relationships both internally and externally.



The role involves:



Being involved in preparing the more complex aspects of tax returns, as well as reviewing in detail the work prepared by Associates



Maintaining client relationships by being client facing and generally the main client contact



Identifying planning opportunities and assisting with the presentation to the client



Involvement in employment tax issues



Practice management including billing, budgeting and monitoring WIP



Assist with the development of Associates.



You will be/have:·



A number of years experience (CTA preferred but not essential)



Experience of working at the appropriate level within a private client tax/entrepreneurial business department.



Excellent tax skills in relation to the coordination of compliance services on complex private clients with personal tax, business and trust involvements.



Excellent organisational and time management skills.



Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills.



Excellent interpersonal skills.



A team player, with the ability to multi-task and ensuring deadlines are met.
