Financial Planning Manager - Londonderry - Permanent - £45,000



Hays is pleased to be working alongside a prominent bank to recruit a permanent financial planning manager to their team based in Londonderry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a cutting-edge organisation with real growth plans, of which you would play a key part. Salary for this role will be in the region of £45,000 for the right candidate.



Job Purpose



· To support the Bank's strategy to put customers at the heart of what we do through the provision of sound investment advice to our customers to meet their financial needs.

· To provide investment advice to new customers and advisory reviews to existing customers, to meet their needs ensuring they are treated fairly, appropriate advice standards are met and conduct risk to the business is minimised.



Duties:



· Accountability for customer ownership and supporting the wider customer relationship model in each channel (e.g. Branch, Select, Business Banking) which is led by the relevant Manager (e.g. Branch Director)

· Earn and keep the trust and loyalty of our customers by ensuring the best customer experience is personally delivered.

· Pro-actively engage with existing customers to ensure they are serviced on a regular basis and all records are maintained to evidence those reviews.

· Take personal responsibility for advice given, service and risk in a way that contributes positively to Financial Planning's commercial performance within your locality.

· Proactively identify opportunities within and across your branches and other channels to encourage and generate higher levels of customer reviews and service delivery Identify, analyse and recommend appropriate products and services to meet agreed customer needs and objectives.

· Proactively manage conduct risk, by reviewing personal key indicators and wider feedback (e.g. from observations, customer feedback, advice solutions & quality MI, QA reports or mystery shops etc.), taking prompt action as appropriate to safeguard / remediate customers, and minimise risk to the business.

· Report, challenge and review risks, proactively taking responsibility for doing the right thing and promoting understanding of risk awareness both personally and across the team.



Knowledge, Skills & Experience



· Proven skills and experience as a regulated adviser.

· QCF Level 4 Qualified (Desirable: Educated to Degree level (or equivalent).

· Proven diagnostic, problem solving and decision-making skills.

· A good understanding of the regulatory environment associated with banking and investment activities in order to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
