An excellent opportunity has now arisen to join developing and forward thinking organization.



The successful candidate will oversee the following key duties-



Purchasing of Raw Materials and Packaging to support busy production schedule.



Raising, placing and monitoring the progress of purchase orders.



Working alongside Purchasing Manager in reviews of usage and stocking levels, supplier performance reviews and benchmarking exercises.



Working alongside management in quarterly stock takes and helping to implement automated & improved systems in the warehouse, shop-floor and in purchasing functions.



Off site supplier visits & evaluations as the business requires



Required Experience-



Experience in a fast paced purchasing role.



Confident communicator with the ability to work well with colleagues in all areas of a business and external suppliers.



Experience working with a Quality Accreditation system such as ISO 9001, cGMP, FEMAS, BRC - Desired not essential.



IT Literate - Experience of MS Office (excel and Word in particular) is essential, and experience using Sage (Sage 200 preferred) or ERP / MRP is desirable.
