Web Support Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of my prestigious clients based in Oxford for a Web Support Analyst, to join an expanding team on a permanent basis. The main purpose of this role is to assist with the analysis and resolution of problems relating to services and systems in line with SLA's.



You will ideally have 2 - 3 years experience within a Desktop/ Helpdesk role and be well versed in responding to and handling web system issues. The successful candidate will work with key users to manage the process of raising improvements and longer term enhancements to services and systems.



Our client is looking for someone with excellent communication and time management skills. You will have some previous experience with Java/ PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache, JBoss and SQL Server.



Working with the support team you will contribute to and help maintain, appropriate technical documentation in line with departmental standards, to provide suitable and up to date information for their party and operational resources.



This position may also include some out of hour support work to ensure the continuous delivery for critical systems. Ideally you will also have some experience of best practice support and service methodologies (ITIL, ISO 20000).
