Pricing Analyst

A newly created opportunity exists to join HP as a Pricing Analyst in Rhodes, Sydney. This is a permanent full time opportunity will have you work closed with the Enterprise Group sales and finance teams. The reporting, transactions and analysis will be more complex in nature and your support will enable the sales team to win deals that meet business group margin targets.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Providing complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making within a limited scope.
- Providing analytic support to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business.
- Supporting policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
- Identifying issues and proposes solutions to a more senior individual contributor or manager.
- Representing finance on cross functional teams.
- Providing mentoring and guidance to entry level analysts.
- Provide pricing for requests for proposals, contracts, and strategic business opportunities
Qualifications
It is expected that you will possess the following:
- University degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Typically 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Good business acumen.
CA or CPA status is not required for this role.
