Job Description



Integrated Marketing professionals plan and manage marketing activities that span across image development, marketing development and business development to ensure consistent messaging that supports our positioning, increases awareness, differentiates Accenture from competitors, builds the brand and supports client focused marketing.



The Growth Platform Marketing Manager develops and delivers integrated marketing and communications programs for the Accenture Strategy and Accenture Digital Growth Platforms across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). Working within the ANZ geographic marketing and communications team, this role reports directly to the ANZ marketing director and closely supports the ANZ growth platform marketing lead.



Key Responsibilities:



Working closely with the ANZ growth platform marketing lead, this individual will be responsible for supporting the design and execution of integrated marketing programs to support the positioning of the Accenture Strategy and Accenture Digital growth platforms in the ANZ marketplace. Responsibilities include:



• Implementation of FY15 marketing plans for the Accenture Strategy and Accenture Digital ANZ growth platforms (two of Accenture’s four growth platforms). These marketing plans have already been developed however the individual will be expected to monitor and adapt these accordingly as appropriate. .

• Development and tailoring of content including points of view, research, insights, sales materials and case studies (both local and global).

• A strong focus on digital marketing including email, direct marketing, websites, landing pages, social media, video, webcasts, paid search, paid social and search engine optimisation.

• Increase awareness of Accenture as a market leader at relevant external events and speaking opportunities throughout the year (including sponsorship of events).

• Internal communications.

• Conduct and analyse market/competitor/target client research as input into message development and positioning.

• Build strong working relationships with the Growth Platform leadership teams as well as relevant local and global marketing teams to promote sharing and collaboration.

• Management of third party suppliers including marketing agencies, designers, writers and researchers.

• Programme management including budget tracking and management, and reporting and analysis of marketing metrics.

• Support other projects for the ANZ geographic marketing team as required.



Relationships:



Reports to:



Works with the ANZ Growth Platform Marketing Lead and reports up to ANZ Geographic Marketing Director.



Internal Relationships:



ANZ Growth Platform leadership teams, ANZ geographic marketing team, other regional and global marketing teams as appropriate.



External Relationships:



Design agencies, writers and other third party vendors and suppliers as well as various professional organisations and media outlets.



Education:



Bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications or another relevant area.



Work Experience:



Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing, business development and communications roles with a strong focus on business to business marketing working for an IT, IT services, consulting or other large professional services organisation. Experience in a global organisation is highly desirable.



Work Requirements:



Based in either Sydney or Melbourne with an availability to occasionally work outside of traditional business hours due to the need to connect with colleagues in other time zones.



Professional Skill Requirements



• Demonstrable experience of executing end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns in a B2B environment

• Experience in development of marketing concepts, branding and message development

• Strong digital marketing skills as part of the development of integrated marketing campaigns

• Superior oral and written communications skills and experience in presenting to senior stakeholders

• Strong project management skills with an ability to work quickly, flexibly and analytically in a fast-paced virtual environment

• An understanding and awareness of metrics, reporting and analytics

• Excellent business and industry acumen

• Budget management and financial reporting skills

• Ability to influence and manage executives through relationship building and executive-level presence

• Ability to manage a number of projects concurrently under tight deadlines

• Ability to work autonomously and independently and to confidently advise colleagues and senior stakeholders on marketing best practice.
