This is an American international electronic commerce company with headquarters in Seattle, Washington, United States. It is the world's largest online retailer. It started as an online bookstore, but soon diversified, selling DVDs, VHSs, CDs, video and MP3 downloads/streaming, software, video games, electronics, apparel, furniture, food, toys, and jewellery. To continue with their success of the business, they are seeking a principal BD.



This principal will be responsible for business development for outside of the content (books/magazines business) in China. S/he will lead the business development opportunity to drive the business needs of the organization. S/he will drive all software licensing for our devices (e.g. Java), all preload relationships with phone, computer and tablet vendors, and other strategic and corporate development actions for China. The candidate will also work on the carrier relationships in terms of content and service related opportunities. Service Expansion. This leader should be creating new services and strategic cooperation with internet companies for China. Also include the service distribution on devices or cross-platform apps through new channels.

This leader should ensure that the application is preloaded all devices that have the ability to read books or periodicals. This leader should be building the wireless and technology relationships needed for in China. Cost savings. This leader should be trying to drive costs out of the Kindle ecosystem by reducing our royalties and vendor payments while keeping the highest level of customer quality.



The ideal candidate should have the Successful experience leading a business development/corporate development team. He or she has the media background, to push the new service to internet and enterprise clients. Has a proven track record of success in closing large and complex business development deals. Can "think out of the box" with new ideas that have been proven to grow the business through partners. Having some operational experience would be a big plus.
