A niche, specialist Procurement Consultancy organisation is seeking a talented procurement professional for their Category Leader vacancy.



The role will be part of their consultancy team and will be responsible for working in support of their high-end client base on procurement projects.



The Category Lead will be responsible for working, (mainly as part of a project team) on key categories - looking for savings opportunities and delivering service benefits that improve the supplier support in the given spend area.



As Category Leader you will have the tools that will enable you to get the most out of your given area; leading systems, an analytics function and a support structure all contributing to the overall goal of delivering on behalf of the client.



To succeed you will be a procurement professional from a large-scale organisation with a track record of rapid progression and high level delivery. In additional you will have a strong academic track record (ideally degree educated) with CIPS qualification (or studying towards).
