The UTC Global Employment Organization, GEO,Controller position will have responsibility for finance-related activities required to: i. Oversee the GEO financial accounting and reporting activities ii. Assist in establishing the GEO annual budget and long term financial goals iii. Manage on-going GEO financial operations and controls The primary job responsibility of this position is to assist in the set up and financial management of the GEO. The candidate for this position will work closely with all facets of Finance, Legal, Tax and Global Mobility.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-Support SAP implementation for the new entity facilitating the direct charge and invoice process.-Set up appropriate controls environment for new entity.-Ensure costs follow UTC entity-level agreements. -Supervise GEO finance/accounting team (outsourced team in Poland). -Facilitate GL close process and reporting within the required schedule.-Manage annual budget and reporting process on total GEO-related cost.-Support and manage eSOX Process and ACA reviews for the GEO and related branches/companies.-Partner with business unit finance groups and other internal business customers to enforce accounting policies and ensure adequate controls.-Ensure GEO compliance with governmental regulations and fulfilment of statutory reporting.-Assist in fulfilling annual audit requirements.-Provide support for ad hoc projects relating to the GEO.
