Hays IT are working with this asset intensive water business to hire an Organisational Change Manager. Working within the ICT PMO, Service People and Technology group you will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage.
The role focuses on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures.
The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
* Assess the change impact; evaluate and ensure user readiness
* Complete change management assessments
* Create change management strategies
* Identify, analyse, prepare risk mitigation tactics
* Identify and manage anticipated resistance
* Consult and coach project teams
* Support training efforts
* Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
* Integrate change management activities into project plan
* Manage stakeholders
* Track and report issues
* Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
To apply for this position you should possess:
* A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
* Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools (e.g. Prosci ADKAR model)
* Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
* Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
* Demonstrated significant experience in managing vendor and service provider contracts in the execution and delivery of IT projects
* Demonstrated significant experience leading and mentoring project teams to achieve project outcomes
