Senior Process Engineer - Thermal Engineering

Birmingham, United Kingdom, GB - Food & Beverages, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Oil & Energy

A leading engineering company providing turnkey solutions to a range of industries including the energy, food, manufacturing, and scientific sectors are recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer with a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering background to join their Staffordshire based team.



Working as part of multidisciplinary team, the Process Engineer will be responsible for leading all stages of process design including producing block flow diagrams, P&IDs, calculating heat & mass balances, and pressure drops. In addition you would be responsible for sizing and specifying auxiliary and utility equipment such as pumps, valves, heat exchangers, filters, air compressors, and boilers.



Ideally we are looking for an experienced Mechanical or Chemical Engineer experienced in process systems design. Knowledge of the energy, food, brewing, or pharmaceutical sectors would be of an advantage for this position.
